New Work 2019

After taking a year break, I’ve returned with a few new paintings this year. One is a commission for my boyfriend. A customer snapped a photo of the MUV building with a rainbow coming out of it. The other is a fun piece that started out as an unfinished doodle from a few years ago.

New Year

It's a new year, and I've got new paintings. Head over to my "shop" tab and check 'em out. The Winthrop Art Festival is in March and it's time to put the pedal to the metal.

I will leave you with this beautiful commission I've just recently finished.

New Pieces

I'm trying a new technique where I enter the painting with no specific direction, improvising as I go. With this, I've been able to come up with some pretty neat flash paintings.

The Color Red

My new favorite color. It pops very well with the black backgrounds. With traditional painting, I loathed reds and yellows for their transparency. It takes layers and layers to get the color right. Ironically, with spray paint, I peel back layers of color to expose the color I loathed so much.
